9/14/2023 0 Comments Sketch pad pro![]() I don't know about the iPad Pro specifically but I've been chasing pen display tech for years (with PC pen displays and android tablets) and, while they do more, they also just don't feel as good to use. It makes up for being more limited by also just feeling great to use. You get a few extra nice things like layers and undo/redo and a few brushes, so it's a lot more convenient than pencil and paper, but it is in no way comparable in features to using a proper art application. It feels really natural and comfortable to use, but it's essentially the electronic equivalent of having a sketchbook and a couple pencils. It's amazing for sketching, but if you decide to turn a sketch into a more polished piece you'll want to move it to a PC to finish it. ![]() If you have any other questions just shout and I’m currently using mine for my daily timesheets/to do lists.Īs long as you are looking for a notepad replacement rather than a tablet replacement I don’t think you will be disappointed. ![]() Just open up your remarkable and hit quicknote and you’re ready to go (you can move your notes into their client folder at a later date). I also find it especially handy for jotting down client notes quickly. it’s not something that you could create any final artwork from but I’m sure you are aware of that. And you can do it sitting outside drinking coffee which is super tricky with those lcd displays on the ipad. Also with the benefit of being able to keep your doodles organised in folders. it‘s ideal for noodling around with page layout ideas, first stage logo designs and brainstorming, all, of that initial ideation stuff that quickly fills up those layout pads. Hi there, i’m a designer too, and i can say that remarkable works great as a layout pad replacement.
